On boats equipped with composite stocks bonding metallic sleeve is require,<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span>The aluminium bodies of the bearings are anodized to prevent corrosion.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><span>On request seals can be fitted to the inner balls<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>JP3 Type 1 rudder bearings are approved by BUREAU VERITAS (N\u00b0 BE96JP0001) and CE (N\u00b0 6564\/4897\/B0\/0).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Installation<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Light and strong, the type 1 bearings do not require any lubrication to work,<\/li>\n<li>The slot of the rudder bearings must be installed aligned with the hull axis,<\/li>\n<li>There is several options for the installation: the bearings can be bolted to the deck, or laminated.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Maintenance<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Type 1 bearings need no maintenance,<\/li>\n<li>The type 1 Bearings require cleaning with soapy water to ensure proper functioning.
